How it works:

Printing:

The design is printed onto paper using an inkjet printer containing special sublimation inks.

Thermal transfer:

The paper is placed onto the target material (T-shirt, mug, frame, medallion, etc.) using a heat press.

Gasification:

The ink turns into a gas upon heating and penetrates the surface of the target material (especially polyester).

Fusion:

The design becomes part of the surface and is invisible to touch.
